Tarot 650mm Ironman
This was my first drone build after I started working. I learned a lot about drones with this build. This drone was on a 650mm frame with 13" carbon fiber propellers, needless to say, it was huge. I used a simple control board such that I would learn how to fly a drone manually, but in hindsight, I really should have put a better control board on this size of a drone, like the DJI NAZA. I later installed a 1.3GHZ FPV system which required me to earn my amateur radio license to legally operate the FPV system. My FPV view came down to a small base station to view real-time feed that was primarily used to ensure I recorded what I intended to record. I always flew the drone by site, and the level of responsibility flying this drone was serious when considering the amount of human and property damage it may cause.
