Radio Direction Finder (RDF) Cape
This was a Radio Direction Finder (RDF) cape board for a Beagle Board Black development board. This RDF cape utilized the Pseudo-Doppler Method for determining an absolute or relative bearing of a transmitter in the Very High Frequency (VHF) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) range. The cape utilized a 3-digit 7-segment display for displaying the specified bearing. The Beagle Board Black was intended to be used for broadcasting measured transmitter bearings to be shared among a group of people nearby via Bluetooth.
